What is WSSF? World Ski & Snowboard Festival 2020 by Gibbons Whistler
The annual World Ski & Snowboard Festival 2020 (WSSF2020) is back to bring you spectacular snow sports, ski and snowboard competitions, live music, local and international arts, and more.
Hosted by Gibbons Whistler (also owners of Whistler’s Longhorn Saloon, Buffalo Bills, Tapley’s Pub, the FireRock Lounge, Garfinkel’s, and most recently, Deep Cove Brewery and Distillery), the spring start, 11-day mountain culture celebration is scheduled to run from Thursday, April 16th to Sunday, April 26th, 2020.
WSSF began in 1994, and has since hosted dozens of ski and snowboarding competitions, lively snow sport demonstrations by notable talents, art shows for creative souls, innovative nightlife adventures, such as The Silent Disco, and more.
Whistler locals and travellers are invited to join in on the enchanting events and adrenaline-filled activities taking place at one of North America’s largest apres-ski cultural events of the year.
